Unibet Open culminates in Antwerp November 26 - 29
Unibet promises poker players a real treat as it gets ready to host the 9th season of the Unibet Open in the city of Antwerp.
Unibet’s international poker tournament, the Unibet Open, heads to Antwerp for the first time this year with over 450 players expected to attend the event to be held from the 26th to 29th of November. The tour has come a long way this year with stops at Glasgow, Cannes, London, and now the international port city of Antwerp, which will host the season finale of the 2015 Unibet Open tour.
Unibet has partnered with Belgian Casino Blankenberge to host this leg of the Unibet Open. The Main Event will play out over four days where 450 players will showcase their poker skills at events that are to be live streamed on the Unibet Open website and other media outlets as well.
An action packed tournament
The Main Event has a buy in of €1,000 + €100 NLHE while there are several side events and a variety of Sit n Gos to be held at De Shop, a historical venue that provides the perfect setting for the tournament. A high roller tournament has also been scheduled while Unibet lives up to its reputation of being most hospitable with Welcome Drinks at Bar One on the cards on Thursday, 26th Nov. followed by the much sought after Unibet Open Player’s Party at The Roxy in De Shop on Saturday.
How to qualify
To qualify for the tournament all you have to do is take part in freerolls and qualifiers that will continue to run until three weeks before the start of the Antwerp Unibet Open. Live Sattelites have already begun at Casino Blankenberge. There is no cash buy-ins on the spot, which means there are no cash games on offer. Unibet offers one package worth €2,000 every Wednesday in a €255+€20 Final and as many as six packages guaranteed on Sundays. The last Wednesday Final will be held on 11th Nov. and the Sunday Final on 15th Nov. Direct buy-ins close online on Nov. 18th at 23:59 CET.
