PokerStars Promises More Millionaires In The Making In April 2015

Poker grinders and sharks seeking to become millionaires have a great chance to make their aspirations come true in PokerStars Millionaire Month promo. Round 1 kicks off on the 6th of April 2015 and continues until the 17th. The online poker room is giving away over $4,000,000 in two Millionaire Finals to be held on May 10th.

Simple challenges, huge prizes

To get to the Final, players are required to complete simple challenges in Qualification Round 1 beginning April 6 – 17. Details on how to get started are available in the ‘Challenges’ window of the PokerStars desktop client and Mobile app. Those who complete the challenges will gain entry into $150,000 All-in Shootouts. Six All-in Shootouts are scheduled on April 18 for Round 1 and May 1 for Round 2. The six winners of the Shootouts will make their way to the Millionaire Finals tourneys to be held on May 10 at 13:00 ET. Each of the two tourneys will crown a new millionaire.

Get ready for the $150,000 All-In Shouts

The Challenges in Round 1 of Millionaire Month are as simple as making a deposit and completing a fixed number of played hands. The challenges in Round 2 are similar with some of the biggest PokerStars pros like Chris Moneymaker and Liv Boeree lending their names to the April 18 $150,000 All-In Shouts. This round includes ring games with different structures. According to PokerStars, players who have registered in advance do not have to be present in the All-in Shootouts since they will be all-in in every hand until a winner is declared. This offers the opportunity to get to the Millionaire Final and play for the grand prize in no time at all.

Massive prizes for the top six

Qualification Round 1 Challenges kick off at 00:00 ET on April 6 and will continue right until 23:59 ET on April 17. Six lucky winners take home prizes ranging from $10,000 to the top prize of $1 million. Players placed second and third get to take home $50,000 and $40,000 respectively in addition to 1 million FPPs each, which can be used at PokerStars' VIP Store.
